London Ante Natal Courses - New Baby Company

My introduction to the world of Maternity work came about when I became an aunty to triplets, almost 16 years ago. Responding to the call for help from my brother and his wife, I spent many months juggling three very small, loud and demanding little boys. This was the start of a new career on my return to my home in Wimbledon.

Since that time, I have worked with hundreds of babies spanning 15+ years, initially as a live-in, 24-hr Maternity Nanny, progressing to become a Daily/Weekly Maternity Consultant specialising in newborn care + sleep and routine training. I now work both as a Private Maternity Consultant & Baby Coach and as a teacher and maternity/newborn consultant for New Baby Company.

I offer a choice of: One-off private consultations in your own home /Tailor-made Coaching Packages/Phone & Email Consultations, Sleep & Routine Consultancy & my "Basically Baby" First Aid sessions.

I work closely with both parents where possible. This holistic approach means that everyone is comfortable with the methods used and our goals are agreed at the start. It helps to have everyone involved working as a team.

The early implementation of my guidelines and routines help to you enjoy the early weeks with a happy, rested and predictable baby by encouraging the security of a regular, familiar structure to their day. I also offer advice and support in the familiar surroundings of your own home to help you with early days breastfeeding.

Amy graduated as a midwife in 2000 from the University of Liverpool, (Chester College)

Vicki Scott is a Registered Midwife and NNEB nursery nurse. After qualifying as a midwife in Sheffield she worked in Delivery Suite and Postnatal at a London Hospital.

In 2002 Vicki set up her own consultancy service 'babyconfidence' offering support and advice to new mums and their families. She was also one of the first New Baby Company teachers and went on to become postnatal specialist.

Vicki has been the Baby Feeding and Wellbeing Advisor to Philips AVENT since 2006, and took over the running of New Baby Company in 2011.

She lives in South West London and has two young daughters born in 2005 and 2010.

After After graduating from Bristol University with a BSc in Midwifery in 2004, Sam went on to work as a hospital Midwife at the Royal Berkshire & Battle Hospital in Reading before becoming a Community Midwife for the Henley on Thames, Ship Lake & Caversham area.

Sam previously worked on the Private Maternity Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital from July 2006, and currently works as a private midwife from the Womens Wellness Center in Chelsea. 

She lives in Windsor and has a daughter, Ava.
