Cherry graduated from the University of Bedfordshire in 2004 with BSc Midwifery Hons 1:1. She worked in labour ward, community (hospital and homebirths) and postnatal ward with a transitional care unit at Luton and Dunstable hospital.

Cherry then spent a year working and travelling in Australia, New Zealand and Asia.

On her return, took a post as Specialist Midwife at University Hospitals Leicester working mainly in antenatal clinic and community but also the stand alone Midwife led birth centre.

Cherry joined the Kensington Wing at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in 2008, have a special interest in developing Midwife led care for the unit. She is studying at Kings Hospital to become a supervisor of midwives for North West Thames region. She is also hoping to continue studies to Master’s level.
