A practising midwife for 17 years, Karen has extensive experience of clinical and community-based midwifery, home births, and pre and antenatal care.  She has been based at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital since 1996, engaged in active midwifery and parentcraft classes. In her spare time she looks after her own three children, Lily, Barnaby and William.
