How to make baby’s first Easter extra special

If your baby is too young to walk it might be a little bit too early for your bundle of joy to enjoy an extravagant Easter egg hunt, but that doesn’t mean you can’t celebrate Easter and make the weekend special for your whole family.

There’s no age restriction on many Easter treats, and here are our top suggestions for what to give your little one for Easter this year:

Babies often love feeling the softness of plush toys, and giving your little one a new little bunny to snuggle up with for Easter is a great way to include baby in Easter treat traditions. British brand Jellycat is known for their soft baby collection, including comforters and soft toys, and they have a variety of bunnies perfect for Easter. Some of our favourites include the Blossom Cream Bunny Soother (pictured) and the Bashful Silver Bunny

Treat baby to a new Easter outfit

Ensure baby can get the Easter look, by spoiling your little one with a new yellow outfit. Baby and children’s clothing brand Sue Hill has an adorable hand knitted cashmere set with leggings, cardigan and booties with a bumble bee embroidered on the cardigan pockets and booties (pictured above). The set looks gorgeous on both baby boys and girls! For bright yellow outfits, try Italian children’s brand Monnalisa, which has a range of cute yellow pieces for baby girls and boys (trousers, rompers and jacket pictured above) – very chic and seasonal!

Find yummy snacks for baby’s first Easter

If your baby has started solids, you might want to give your little one some delicious organic baby snacks. Ella’s Kitchen has a range of smoothies suitable for babies, and our favourites include the organic pureed bananas with a dash of lemon juice. For babies over 12 months old, the Nibbly Fingers with organic bananas and raisins are also brilliant.

Happy Easter!
